Any way yet to NOT have to play tutorial?
The tutorial makes me not wanna start a new game. Any option yet to be able to skip it?

Are we speaking literal tutorial or chapter 1?

i make a save checkpoints after clearing areas like lifepath starter zone, the rescue, getting back from the heist, things like the combat and braindance tutorials can be skipped now. ..but you're pretty much stuck with the tutorial, its part of the story.

Do you mean the start for each type, nomad etc or the virtual training for combat, which you can skip?

I mean everything involving Jackie in the beginning. That part is clearly meant to be the tutorial part of the game that takes entirely too long and after playing it the first time should be able to be skipped to the real good stuff.

To be honest, Jackie and the Music is the best thing about this game.

While I understand the thing about 'skipping' the first few years as a scrub in the city(making sure the relationship with the big guy makes a lick of sense) but I'd still love a chance to play through that period the normal way. y'know, the 'building up from scratch' option. with no shortcuts. THAT would make one hell of a different playthrough each game.
How bout in 2025? Any changes?
You can skip it if you installed the DLC for Phantom Liberty, just skip the beginning and go to the start of Phantom Liberty.

There are lots of saved games on Nexus that start at Chapter 2. Take your pick.

Snap lol.

I have one I label '(name) base save' for each of my (9 atm) different V's so I can go back all the way to the start again without doing the lifepath starts.
And I keep one each of '(name) act2 start' where V is fresh out of the shower lol, but has not done anything else.
A couple of saves where I ran thru act1 without adding any stats/perks so I can just go back in there and change everything up as well now.

Got the feeling I'm going to have to remake my base saves tho, once I patch up to whatever the latest is.
Having the old metro mod in (along with a load of other mods) will probably make those saves non valid.

You can tell the people who have been playing Bethesda games for a while, we learned to keep an untouched save after the tutorial.
