lost my scanning feature.
As the titler says, i can\t scan ♥♥♥♥.
It happened yesterday, but i roolback 6 saves, then it worked.
But now it has happened again. I have restarted my PC, rool back 5 saves.
Nothing. I can\t scan anymore.

Do check your cyberware.
There may be something interfering with scanning feature.

If this doesn't help.. I give up.

You can't scan if you install Berserk or Sandivistan... Also, note that if you upgrade/change cyberdecks, you have to reinstall your Quickhacks.

Not true. You can still scan with Berserk and Sandevistan. You cannot use quick hacks or access points with those but you can absolutely scan. Scanning is a feature of your Kiroshi eyes, not the cyberdeck, and while do you need to scan in order to use quick hacks, you can still scan with Berserk & Sandevistans.

My suggestion would be to check keybindings. Maybe something got messed up there. It happened to me once when I accidentally mapped the key used for scanning to something else and remapping the binding for scanning fixed the issue.

Check your eye implants, check scan function in new game after Viktor puts your eyes on, check your control options in game and your keyboard

The 'Not able to scan' anymore can happen from time to time. It's a glitch that can lock you out of the feature of the eyes. Had it happen a few times on my last play, twice after I triggered a story cut. Another after being nailed by a runner while I was hacking a turret.

It's not a huge bug seeing as the game auto saves a fair amount, so just roll back and it should work again.

anytime a hotkey bugs out, i've pressed esc to menu then back to game and NP, fixed.

I fixed it. Thanks for all the replies. You are all awesome.

I loaded an almost 20 minut old save. (Had to do a mission all over again and a few side activities)
But then it worked again.
I have now played 5 hours more after this, and haven't seen the bug again.

Still a game breaking bug. Scanning is a core feature.
I did beforehand try closing the game and even restartet my PC.
Then loading 6 saves back. Didn't do anything.

I really had to go even further back.
