The Gig Quest Bugged - v1.6

I've completed the The Gig quest and Wakako Okada sent me to the Cassisu Ryder Ripperdoc Shop. When I click on the store and go to hands, the Tattoo: Tyger Claws dermal imprint is nowhere to be found. It only gives me the smart weapon link and the processor, I already have equipped. Anyone know how to fix this? I completed this mission after meeting Ogata and Tageshi and visiting Wakako for some Japantown blueprints.

Did you try the ol' savefile reload or loading an autosave from right before you finish that quest or right before you meet Wakako?

I did. My last save at that pointis right before I get in the car to see her. But it still acts the same. I can try it again.

The dermal implant is a smart weapon link that looks like a tattoo. If the quest is still bugged for you the worst thing that happens is that it stays in your quest log, you get zero XP, street cred or coin for finishing it. Heck even the implant is worse than useless since it has zero value and makes it even harder to use smart weapons against Tyger Claws.

The save reload didn't fix anything. At this point, I have also progressed beyond the save. This quest is uncompleted. Short of starting over a second time (which I'm not really interested in doing) I will just move forward and hopefully they patch it later.

Annoying to say the least but it doesn't actually have any effect on the game, (other then being an incomplete quest). It was a minor quest with an ok, (but not great) reward. With the smart weapon link/tattoo you can use smart weapons vs any faction but they may be a bit gimped against tiger claws. You're much better off just going to a ripper and buying the smart weapon link to use smart weapons.

Once you get the quest, you'll have to open Cassius's store once, then go sleep or do stuff for 48h so his inventory refreshes, at which point it will show up

If you never opened his store or last opened it more than 48h ago it will be there, which is why some people say they don't have the bug

Or use SVE and set stores to instant refresh because clearly the game is fixed now
