Fingers' links with the Scavs go well beyond Evelyn. Those broken parts he installs come from somewhere. He's one of the people being investigated by Anna Hamill in Lady of La Mancha He's lucky if he only gets punched on my playthroughs.

Heh...Punching him is one of the action/dialogue options the game gives you. It seems like a pretty reasonable choice, given how slimy a character he is. The ramifications of punching/not punching you don't find out for a long time, if ever...esp. if you don't replay the game and make a different choice.

Perhaps worth noting that sometimes the choices exist without even being explicitly prompted.

Being intentionally vague to avoid spoilers, but I recall having a conversation with two dirtbags. They were annoying me with self-serving excuses and a complete lack of cooperation with my inquiries, so at one point I just executed one of them with a hand cannon to the forehead. Wasn't a conversation option or anything, just drew down and shot him.

The other promply started whining about how could I just shoot the other, et cetera. Didn't work out well for him, etiher, of course.

I don't punch him. Reason? Fingers isn't the only corrupt character in this game, and does actually care enough to try and help Evelyn. Unfortunately, by the time that Evelyn even gets to Fingers, the damage was already done.

Think Fingers is bad, pfft; there's far worse characters in this game.

I think the another ripperdoc who works directly with scavs and has scav chopshop in his basement is worse then Fingers.
Most people probably just get upset about the dildo collection Fingers has.
