A Little Help?

I don't have many mods and my game was working perfectly fine yesterday with the mods i have, i installed a few more this morning but now the game crashes to desktop before it even gets past the logo.

I have no clue what's causing this i did the validation it said one thing was missing and will be reacquired it did that and is still crashing. i uninstalled all the mods i installed today and its still crashing lol i have no clue how to fix this. yes i know mods can make this difficult i don't need anyone telling me about how mods mess up things just come with solutions please i don't need a mod lecture.

Well... Start with the newly installed mods, check them one by one or see which one wasn't updated after the latest patch 1.6, mods that aren't updated are mostly the cause of the issue.

im willing to guess that at least half of these mods aren't even updated.

how did you uninstall them? are you using a mod manager or manually doing it?

Seen reports of Appearance Change Unlocker currently causing issues in game, so would put that aside for the moment regardless. You've not mentioned it but have seen reports of Reshade causing loading issues at the moment too if it's relevant to you. Good luck tracking it down.

hmm ok well i already tried this hahah i'm pulling my hair out, i deleted all mods i downloaded today and still borking but it was working fine yesterday night i was playing for hours so i thought it must be the mods i got today. thank you tho ill try again maybe.

i'm using vortex also its important to remember i was playing fine yesterday most mods don't need an update.

damn i tried getting rid of appearance change unlocker and i'm still getting a crash to desktop when the cyberpunk logo is about to vanish and enter the game intro /: so i don't think its that....but considering the update added appearance changing to ripper docs i'm gonna keep it disabled regardless just in case

I had crash problem too. i couldnt even lunch game. had 3,4 mod. i verified files and it gave me some download. but nothing happened. then i saw a post in forum. and it worked for me.
-Delete all folders except *archive*. and verify again.
it gave me 3GB download. but it fixed the problem for me. hope it help you too.

Forget about all mods for now, if you wanna play. remove all of them. and install them again when they get updated.

;--; i can't play without some of these mods lol its unplayable but i will probably have to uninstall all mods and try them one by one to see which work.

worst thing is they were working fine last night so i guess its probably one mod that is screwing up making it crash. ill just have to find it and banish it i think.

honestly i couldn't even find a mod that doesn't work apart from what you've seen me mention in these comments so far :S

i managed to get my mods working from talking to some people in the modding discord server i'm in here is the screen shot of what the guy told me to do and others to do. https://gyazo.com/5724907790d2ed178cd20eb29368e1e9

once i deleted those things i did a verify integrity for the game and also once it was installed i had all my mods uninstalled (but NOT deleted off vortex) then one by one i installed and enabled my mods and launched the game to see if it would crash now my game is fine....none of my mods was the problem (but still if a mod is outdated its best to test it because i may have out of date mods for some but they still work for me, some do not need updating but its best to check cos it may be causing a crash) i think it was left over files or something idk but try this stuff it might work.
