How to unlock new clothes for the Wardrobe?

Anyone knows how to unlock clothes for the wardrobe?

For example i only have one hat in my wardrobe, but i think trough the game i had muich more on my head ^^ .

It's enough to find clothes in the open world or i have to buy them in the stores?

It seemed to pick up everything I had in my inventory & stash. So anything you actually possessed when the system was patched in. Not everything you've ever looted (why would save files even be keeping track of that? :D)

Should be easy enough to test - go kill a couple groups of random street criminals. Loot some gear.

I think you have to buy new clothes to appear

On my new playthrough any clothing I picked up was added. It probably can't go back for items you had before the update but any you get after should be added.

Works best on a fresh save file. I RECOMMEND a new game. The game will keep track of EVERY clothing item you've ever found / looted, bought, received as quest reward or even dismantled. It's a freakin' good transmog system. The clothes don't need to be in your stash either. As long as you've picked it up even once, the game will remember it and add it to the wardrobe.

Transfer them where? In your inventory? Because if that's what you meant, then yes. Like I said, as long as you've picked up a clothing item just once, the game will remember it and add it to the wardrobe. Meaning, it has to have been in your inventory once before the wardrobe system will use it. But after that, you don't need to keep the clothing item in your stash or wherever, for the game to remember it in your wardrobe. You can sell it, dismantle it, etc... Anything that you had in stash, before the patch, I guess, has to be transferred to inventory so the game will register the items as "picked up" , like "for the first time" ... if you know what I mean.
