Am I missing files?
0 docs for how to use redmod? Are there any docs out there to help figure out how to do some simple mods?
It helps a lot to know how the folder/file system within your game installation works. Installing mods is much riskier than installing a Windows app via the Windows installer.
Additionally, once you install the free REDmod DLC, you will be able to enable and disable REDmod compatible mods via REDlauncher and GOG Galaxy.
On REDlauncher, a new button will appear next to the "Play" button. On GOG Galaxy, you will be able to enable or disable REDmod compatible mods in the Galaxy settings.
Upon launching the game after selecting your mods, a progress bar will appear and the mods will be uploaded into the game. Once it's completed, the game will start automatically.

I don't make mods myself so my knowledge here is limited, but WolvenKit was spoken as a reason/'inspiration for the mod tools to be put together if I'm remembering right. Isn't redMOD itself just a wrap for the mods, thats why it would have plugins for blender and such?
Modders use it when creating their mods to make them compatible officially, but it is meant to be used with other software such as blender via it's plugin. It's all on their website.
