Got the Sandevistan OS but I can't use my Prototype Chip?

I just bought the Sandevistan, but I can't use the Sandevistan: Prototype Chip I have, how do I equip it? Does it just work automatically without equiping it? I don't get this game sometimes

Go to your inventory, access your Cyberware UI on the lower left of the screen, and click on your Sandevistan icon on the top right.
Then you should be able to equip the Prototype Chip on your Sandevistan.

EDIT: It's not possible to equip mods on your OS while you are trading with Ripperdocs.

I tried but it won't do anything, I clicked on every square, nothing opens.
Not while talking to Ripperdocs, nor in my own menu, maybe its a bug

Have you leveled up the corresponding skill tree enough to enable that mod?

you cannot put a higher rarity mod on a lower rarity item. The item needs to be at least same rarity as the mod. I assume this is the reason...

Press O, click on Cyberware, click on Sandevistan (Operating System), that's where you place the mods, if you have no slots you can't put anything there.

Which Sandevistan do you have and what's the colour of it?

It could be out of date mods messing it up.

I added the mk1 and have it working, but I have the chip in my inventory, maybe the game bugged out because I'm getting weird flashes after I close the inventory
