Morality on "I Walk The Line"

Been playing this since release and I'm still curious about you guys thoughts. Since both of them are just using you which side did you chose? VBD or the NetWatch?

For me I like to take the Bryce's deal, because for all I know NetWatch truly try to protect us from Rogue AI (even though they might also control the Net) whilst VDB is like someone who doesn't know what they're doing and might accidentally unleashed Skynet on humanity. Alt itself seems fishy to me.

Edit: I could kill all of the NetWatch and the VDB too (just did it), however I think that it's a bad idea, since if they all dead there's no one that could contain the Rouge Ai should the wall breached. Though NetWatch will, but they will still take more time since their top Agents is dead and need replacements.

That reasoning applies the same for the VDB's....not to mention how they actively try to kill you you are a ranyon to them there's no difference.

Agree with Hannah Dune. But I'm very much in the 'why not both?' camp for it.

Think Wabbajack has a point about having a little more from other corps in the game. Not just MIlitech but a bit from Netwatch and Biotechnica (justice for Sasha!) and Kang Tao and so on. Having some more from Netwatch would be good, not exposition dumps but context and perhaps linking to what is there. Bryce is a busy man.

Honestly the only reason to side with VDB is to have the opportunity to kill them by yourself
If V hadn't had already a background with them the choice would be harder, since killing Corpo is kinda a hobby in Nightcity, But the story cleary shows who are the "a$$holest"

I sided with NetWatch. Screw the Voodoo Boys, they tried to use you and kill you after like a disposable rag, they deserve what they get.

Yep atleast NetWatch only tried to kill V since V might be a threat later on and she was supposed to kill him (I mean, it's somewhat justifiable" than VDB). However I think if V had originally work for NetWatch, NetWatch wouldn't treat V like VDB would do.

Yeah, and though corps themselves might be try to monopolize things that they invested in, at least it also provide some good thing for the people, like tech, jobs, etc. Whilst VDB will keep it for themselves.

I wish that the ordinary VDB that spawns on the street still spawns, so I can have VDB hunt lmao.
