Character look way better in character creator than in game.
Is there any way to make the character look better in game, like mods or settings, or is there nothing I can do and just accept that my character will always look like a potato?

The lightning in the CC is different from the actual in game lighting, so while you may seem like a potato outside of it, it's more to do with the light and where you are. You were a potato all along, my friend.

It's actually just the in-game mirrors, there's some blurring filter and other crap applied to them when looking at your character via the mirror that makes it look like actual garbage. Not sure why CPDR did this. In photomode your character resembles the character creator model.

Right, I didn't even consider looking in the mirrors, those always look terrible, nothing like your character at all. Use photo mode in the right lighting and you can get a better idea for your character vs character creation. It should mostly match up.

Yeah, I stopped looking at mirrors, but I still have to look at V’s face every time I open up my inventory and the lighting there is somehow worse. Oh well, it is what it is
