Does anybody know why I can't buy a clothing mod?

I have been in 8 different clothing shops, and none of them show me a single clothing mod to buy, what am I doing wrong?

u are doin nothing wrong. the cloth mods got patches out of the game scince 1.6 :D

u can just find them. they were patched out of the shops of the game (to clarify my comment)

Seriously? You know how to get them now by any change?

Find them in random loot, mostly luck based, either on their own or more often in clothing, to get them out and use them specifically in clothing you want you would need the perk that lets you keep mods when you dismantle the item.

They also removed Legendary cloths in the start areas clothes shops, they only sell Uncommon items now.

You can find crafting patterns for clothing mods, and you can get lucky finding clothes with the mods you want. I got a jacket with a Street Cred bonus early on, and added a similar crafted mod later. Boosted my SC a lot.

There's a crafting Perk that saves mods from items you disassemble. It's fairly high on the Perk ladder, but that's a possibility too.
