[Spoilers maybe] Why is Isis not calling me?

I feel like I've had this mission for days now, and no callback from her whatsoever...Bear in mind this is my first run of the game, so I may have misunderstood/misheard something....then again, it might just be a glitch/bug, I dunno, maybe you guys can help?

As far as the main story goes, I've reached the mission where I'm to meet with Hanako, but I'm waiting with it until I've done gigs and side-jobs and/or maxed my levels.

In regards to side-jobs, I still have:

- Find the different fighting rings, but I'm not into melee, so that'll probably stay unfinished

- Go on a date with Rogue (been thinking of equipping all my Johnny gear for that one, I'm guessing it might unlock some special interaction/cut-scene?)

- "Space Oddity" I believe it was called, have to defeat 7 enemies that were quite strong first time around, so I'm waiting with this one too

Plus 2 or 3 others I can't remember right now

If it's the one with Bes Isis that you called her about a website then you need to finish some missions that unlock after the date with Rogue. Trying to be as unspoilery as I can.

Bes Isis is a character you meet as you go along...I don't think she calls you for the gig until after you've interacted with her. This happens quite a ways after your date with Rogue.

Equipping all your Silverhand gear for the date with Rogue doesn't do much, but make sure you pick her up driving Johnny's Porsche...

Enemies get easier to deal with as you gain Exp Points/Levels. Sometimes you have to strategize. I beat some very tough enemies by softening them up with Breaches and Quickhacks first, then sneaking and shooting them in the head with a silenced pistol.

I was never into melee fighting games or road racing games, but I really enjoyed the ones in this game. I wish there were more of both.

Yeah, I've unlocked her now. I guess it was confusing because when I first got that quest on my list it just said "do other jobs while you wait for Bes Isis to call". But what really gave me contact with her was doing another side-quest...

Yeah, the "do other jobs" is basically just telling you to keep playing the game and don't wait up for it. It's also left ambiguous so it remains a mystery for the player until they do the correct side quest and hear the name come up again.

This quest gets unlocked later when you do Kerry Eurodyne quest line and actually meet her.

You ought to select the post as "answered" so people don't keep answering the question again and again.
