Is Anyone else just getting the worst performance out of this game?
Like I would love to play this game but after the recent updates I figured I might try to jump in and see if they made any improvements. Aaaaand I can't even manage to get more than 54 FPS on just 1080P. and I'm running the game on a Ryzen 3700, 32 Gigs of Ram, and a 3060 12 gig OC. and the game is installed on a M.2 drive but still the game runs like hot garbage in a dumpster fire. And yes that is with raytracing off. forget even trying to play with those options on.

DLSS needs to be on and crowd density to medium/low, but yes.. performance is ass. Its performance hungry for both CPU and GPU, you'll have to upgrade your CPU to something better to get a good performance increase.

I'm running same thing as you cept with a Ryzen 2700X but im able to hit 60 most the time, dips below when im in crowded areas like Japantown market or occasional texture loading.

Keep playing with the settings. I get better fps with a 2700x and 6700xt @1440 ultra.

It's not just you, it performs badly for me too on a 3700x and a 3070Ti. The game isn't optimized very well to begin with and it just got worse with the latest patch.

I own and play the game with a Gtx 1080 ti Oc/M.2/7700k Oc 4.9ghz/32g ram/G-Syne Monitor and get/hold 60 frames most of the time when I'm not in high demanding areas at max settings, lowest would be around 45. I'm assuming the 3060 is a 1080 in disguise, you paid for Rtx Shaders/better shadows not a performance upgrade so its unlikely that you'll get your desired frames. Twinkle with the settings or it might be an issue on Amd Drivers and the game ..or your gpu isn't getting enough power from your psu and needs an upgrade, don't know.

Just a weird fyi, all other things being equal, 3060 used to outperform the 1080ti in Cyberpunk. 10xx vs later series comparisons in most other games are one thing and are another in Cyberpunk. In any case, there's definitely something to this 1.6 update which is disagreeing with some of our systems.

@OP - some benchmarks here from 1.5 (not sure when you last played): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98KK5ZLRSmo

If you're well below those then it at least demonstrates somethings has changed. Could ask CDPR to review things and see what they say: https://support.cdprojektred.com/en/cyberpunk/pc/sp-technical/issue/1775/performance-issues-3

I'd bet it's the 3700x holding you back. I assume the updates CDPR are more CPU intensive than GPU.

I might be talking out of my ass though because I don't own this game.

im running it on a 1080ti with no issues over 60 fps all the time. i only have frame drops when im running two games

Don't worry I run the game like absolute dog ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ with a rtx 3060 and Ryzen 7 5800X OC with DDR4 48GB 3600MHz Ram :v. Did they post anything related to the performance? Cuz atm the Anime Edgerunners seem to run at higher framerate than the game for me...

Game Status: Game runs normally, 1360x768 to 1920x1080 pending on monitor ability for screen resolutions @60. No issues to report.
NOTES: Observed game runs better on 6 to 8 cores better than 4. On some system full screen maybe better than windowed. Game may not work correctly or not at all in WIN7.

I have high settings on most things and medium on others. Crowd density is high because I like it that way. Game runs fine between 40 and 60FPS depending on what I'm doing. I'm not super picky about "MUST BE 60FPS CONSTANTLY OR TRASH" kind of things though. Never understood that mentality.

I think it speaks more to peoples ability to adapt than it does anything else.
True, so far it's only people with 30-series that are complaining it could easily be dismissed as them not noticing frame drops until 1.6 came out so now they'e actually paying attention.

Still waiting on anyone to report back after turning on HDD mode, though. Wondering if it's a full drive and Windows swap file is what's struggling.

Always turn motion blur off. No exceptions.

You got that right!

it's your gpu holding your performance back, it's getting maxed out. The game is very gpu intensive, especially playing at 1440p and up.
I've been having the same problem, it was running just fine before, but a couple of days ago it just started lagging and stuttering and just being completely unplayable my procsessor is an AMD Ryzen 5 4600H, i don't know if that's good or not but the whole game is just a stuttery unplayable mess. i've tried undownloading it and redownloading it but that failed.
