That said bugs and glitches can hurt even the story parts, and if you don't have a good pc you probably won't get it to run on High settings, let alone 40+ fps.
I like the characters and writing a lot, but it's nowhere near the level of polish of the Witcher games and it shows in almost every aspect, unfortunately.
But overall story are good in my opinion so far, at the very least can easily get hooked in and wanting to know more about what's next more than Witcher 3
Writing on Johnny Sliverhand is good, showing an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and a jackass but understandable, you can like him or hate him
As for bug, PC version are more stable in launch, but a lot of them already swatted by now, so far haven't seen a bug yet for me, though driving around in vehicle can be wonky because of how they design them
a GTX 1650 and a I7-2600. Game seems to be running at 40+ fps from what I played so far but then again I'm at the intro and not at the open world stuff lol.
Random aside, but how the story and arcs off it are structured are, very quietly, best in class for this kind of monstrously large open world ARPG. Game does some interesting stuff and when it all comes together it's very, very good. When it doesn't, it's still above average for an open world ARPG.

Like the main story is extremely short and it felt very rushed and unsatisfying unlike the Witcher 3.
The side content which mostly consists of gigs rely heavily on finding shards which are basically notes and e-mails to make sense. It is better than nothing but the Witcher 3 had you interacting with multiple npcs and in this regard the game is sadly deprived, but the side quests that do have you interacting with npcs are 10/10 Imo but sadly they make a very small chunk of the games side content.
The worldbuilding and atmosphere are top notch.
Personally I preferred Witcher 3’s story over Cyberpunk’s for a multitude of reasons but the main reason, without going into spoiler territory, is progression and development. Again without going into detail, Cyberpunk’s story felt to me like treading water whereas Witcher 3’s story was swimming.
But hey that’s just my opinion. Hell if anything, I’m probably in the minority here with my views so definitely read up on some other views/opinions. Your mileage may (or rather, will) vary.
One thing I would like to clarify though, is that even though I have a clear preference for TW3 over CP2077 in terms of story specifically, this does not in any way mean I actively dislike the plot in Cyberpunk (quite the opposite in most if not all cases actually). Regardless of what I think, it’s a unique story and I strongly encourage everyone to experience it for themselves and form their own opinions on it.
Here's the thing: If you just follow the next quest marker, the story is pretty short. You're done fast, its kinda... unrewarding. You can then come back here soon and complain of all the plot holes you think you found.
The actuall story requires some digging. This is a Cyberpunk world, nothing is as straight forward as it seems. You need to actually pay attention to what people are saying, and what they are not saying. All these sidequests, even most of the scanner scrambles, they have their own plot. Read whats on the shards, in the files on some terminal you found in a side room, or simply try to listen what the people are saying when the think noone is listening.
But most importantly remember: People are lying. Most of them. There are maybe 3, at best 4 people in the entire game you can actually trust. Most people you meet and interact with are trying to manipulate you. Take everything presented to you with a pinch of salt.
Good Luck & Have Fun
