How do you drop a body?

I've got 300 hours in this game, so I know this is going to sound dumb.

But how in the world do you drop a body? Neither E, F nor R do anything (press or hold). I used to be able to draw a weapon to just drop the body, but now that I have taken the "Transporter" perk, it seems impossible to drop bodies (other than in bins).

Surely I am overlooking something?

It also helps if you want them to lay flat in a particular spot so that you can angle the body to drop where you want it so it will be out of sight for those stealth like players like me, you can move forward slightly as you press Q/or Whatever button you change it to, if timed correctly they'll fall flat, really useful

Often bugs if you are crouching and dropping, bodies act weird and may bounce upwards, even one time I was near a wall as I dropped a body in crouched stance and it teleported 15 meters in the opposite direction of the wall which literally spawned right in front of an enemy & of course they detected the body

I am play Phantom Liberty and neither mouse nor Q is dropping a body I picked up. Any new suggestions on dropping a body?

are you holding it down Q or tapping it,if not you may need to re-key bind it :3
