Make sure it's set to "On Weapon", and not "On Camera".
It fixes!
In real life you would also need to adjust it. It's just uncommon for games to have this.
So might be that you have to aim a bit higher to actually hit.
Just a guess though.
When I had it on I constantly mistook it for the aiming dot of the handgun scopes. Since I turned it off I don't have problems nailing those headshots anymore.
In Kabuki is a weapon shop with a shooting range. Without scope, I can hit the small diamonds at the corners without spread outside (looks like one big hole). With an attached scope however (no matter which and no matter the quality), the spread is in the outer lines of the big diamond in the center and a few even outside of it. That target is maybe 15-20m away.
Would have loved to use that Kanetsugu scope.
Without scope, I headshot targets in 50-100m range. With scope I often miss still standing targets at 10-15m.
Tried them all.
weapon sway is minimal
RL adjustments don't mess up the spread (unless the sight is totally loose and changes with every shot).
Out of ideas, thanks for all the answers. Back to iron sights.
If i cover aim and then move, the bullet doesn't shoot where i aim even if i'm still again. But if i cover aim but not move then i don't get this problem.
