Should I watch the anime show before or after finishing the game?
or perhaps during? I'm itching to watch the show but i'm worried about spoilers.

Before

Show takes place before the events in the game so you don`t spoil anything.

The show might be a bit more enjoyable if you play the game first because the Cyberpunk universe uses a lot of its own made up jargon. The anime uses this jargon but expects you to just translate it through context.

Choomba = friend
Cyberpsychosis = becoming a murderer because you have too much cyberware
Netrunner = computer hacker
Eddies = Euro currency

And about 500 others. lol

It doesnt matter tbh. But the show is alot shorter and alot better than the game so I say start there.

You're fine one way or the other, it doesn't really matter, the game and show have barely anything in common aside from the shared universe.

Definitely the show. There are references to the show in the game but It's better to start with the show to know and understand the game's references.

watch the cartoon first tbh

Theres like one actual reference in the game about the show, of which was only added as a side gig recently because of the anime. The game is a better place to start if you want to understand the lingo and terms used in the anime, because the anime just assumes you've played the game first and doesn't explain them. It's also better if you want to understand cyberpsychosis in more detail, though realistically it doesn't matter if you play the game first or watch the anime first, it won't change your experience much at all.

I watched it before in one sitting and now i'm here one day later

Flip a coin, doesn't really matter one way or the other. You might miss a few references if you watch the anime first, but it's nothing big what so ever.

I've never played the game or know any of the lore and understood the anime just fine.

The cyberpsycho missions are interesting. I think eddies is a name for ED (Euro Dollars), both european and american currencies combined btw, but instead of calling it EDs, they call it "Eddies".

In Cyberpunk 2020, the U.S. has a massive economic collapse. It uses the Euro because its own currency became worthless. They don't actually have any control over how it is governed, so it is not really their currency. The U.S. dollar still exists in this timeline but everyone prefers to deal in Euros because it's the most valuable and stable currency: https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/U.S._dollar

Show takes place in 2076

I watched it afterwards and saw so much more, the locations, backgrounds and even some characters.
