Issues with some gigs not launching
So I am encountering an issue (something I have not dealt with ever previously), is where particular gigs do not launch. I can see the icon on the map and in game, but when I approach the area, I do not receive the call from the fixer (for example "No Fixers" is one gig that will not work). Anyone else encounter this bug? And if yes, is there a known fix? I have done some searching online, but haven't seen anything that matches the issue I have encountered.

in the past 4 playthroughs I did no not seen this, I just started a playthrough on 1.6 so I don't know yet

Yeah, I have poured damn near 1200 hours into the game, and this is the first time encountering this problem. I am quite baffled why its happening now when I have been running the same PC since spring of 2021, and had a playthrough with a different character with 1.6 and all gigs worked just fine with there.

You need to get off your bike/out of your vehicle to receive the call.

Oh I almost forgot, in one of the later updates not all gigs are available right away you have to do them in a specific order for more to be unlocked, it use to be they were all available from the start but not anymore

You are very much correct, but even in doing so, the gig still not launches. Also know the change about how some gigs are only available after others have been completed. As previously mentioned, this gig shows the icon meaning its ready to be investigated/cleared, but approaching the area on foot does not launch nor do I receive the call from Dakota Smith. Hopefully this makes sense. :(

OK we are clarifying because the same question pops up a lot. Save and walk into the location to see if that triggers it. Otherwise load a previous save where you are well away from the location and see if that fixes it.

I've never had this issue so I can't help beyond the very general.
