Which is why I personally avoid using the map and the GPS, so I can come across things naturally as I'm exploring. Makes the city feel more lively.
You'll get more gigs from different people the further into the story you get, but as for what you get, each fully completed gigs you complete for someone, they give you a reward in your stash & I'm pretty sure they give you iconic weaponry
I never actually checked to see if the stash on your vehicle actually works rather than going to the apartment, I guess it's something I have to test in a future playthrough if I decide to play it again
Good Luck & Have Fun
Tho it's not all that bad, you will still have plenty of side missions to do, they are mostly even better than gigs, they are longer and their story more in depth. They also unlock continuously after finishing main story quests so it's not like you are left with main missions only.
- Apartments
- Clubs
- Arcade Minigame
- Cars to drive if you bought or stole one
- Random enemies in the world to fight
- Joytoys
and finally:
- Whatever mods that you happen to have installed that increase activities in the world.
edit:
That's based on literally completing the meat and potatoes of this game, gigs - stories - ncpd events.
edit:
Once everything is done, it's done for good.
In the case of CP2077 I actually recommend doing the main story first and leave the side quests for later, at least once. Because by doing that, you won't be sooo very OP. Feels like the main story was scaled to be finished by ... roundabout ... lvl 20 (give and take a few and unless you want the secret ending). So, if you do all the side content first, things will turn into a cakewalk quickly.
After I finish every gig/NCPD, I go and meet Takamura ('cos the others are only triggered at specific quest-stages).
well technically yes and no, a player could stop after heist mission if they really wanted too, not that far in
