Should I pay full price for this game?

I was meaning to buy this game while it was still on sale.
I know this game had a pretty rough start at launch, but honestly my friends have been hyping up Edgerunners so much and I fell in love with the new song they released so much so to the point I've been really tempted to just buy the bullet and play through the game.
I don't really play open-world games, but this game seems so immersive and fun that I think I'll just play through it all, even if I play it on-and-off sometimes

Granted I never really had any major bugs since the games release (PC), so maybe I'm a bit biased when I say the game is worth every (p)enny. The graphics, the world, the characters, the stories (every gig and quest has their own story), the insane attention to detail to the cars is also a big bonus for me. The weapons, the combat, the music... it makes for one great adventure.

Oh and it works well for on-and-off gameplay when you're short for time, and very long sessions when you have all the time in the world. Do the main story, gigs (side missions), NCPD scanner hustles, or just drive around and explore the city. You'd be surprised at all the stuff you can find by just exploring.

If your judging the game off the ridiculous amount of hype it generated.....youll be disappointed.

If you want a really good RPG that slowly grows on you the more you play it. Its well worth full price.

The game is worth full price, but it goes on sale often enough that I would recommend waiting anyway.

Depends if you are comfortable financially. If you are sure, worth it. If you are not, well you won't loose anything to wait a bit. Anyway in a few months we should get 1.7, a big change on important elements of the game... If you want to edge your Edgerunners high, well, there is always tragedy to be found in night city.

The game goes on sale quite regularly so I’d strongly suggest waiting till the next sale unless if you’re absolutely strapped with cash or have a bad case of FOMO.

How much would you spend on a movie evening that lasts just a few hours? You can play this game for literally hundreds of hours. That's my metric. It's worth the full price, IMO. No harm in waiting for a sale though.

God no this game is a glorified movie and the first 5hrs of gameplay is 4hrs of cutscenes most of which cant be skipped and require meaningless choices apart from that the combat system can use alot of work

Unless you are 100% for supporting the developers and the company itself, I'd say no, the game was literally just on sale for 50% off, and likely nearing the end of the year, many more sales will take place, so just get it then, so you can save your money of course

if you are asking this qestion you are not turbofan like me who bought new pc (just before GPU prices went up) to play this game. You need to also manage your expectations, if you have weak PC you wont aprecieate this game fully

I bought this game at full price and don't regret it even though its been perpetually on sale since release. Its well worth full price but it goes on sale so often that I have to recommend that you wait.

No, wait for a sale. The game is a bit old at this point, so it's probably better to wait for a sale. Is the game worth it at full price? Probably close to full price, but I wouldn't pay more than $40 for it probably.

No, especially not right now. It's going to go on sale 50% or more at least 3 times between now and the new year.
