cyberpunk 2077 nocturne op55n1 still available after completing?
I completed the mission but it is still available as a main job? What gives?

after finishing it, the game will load you into a point just before you do it so you could go do anything you had not completed prior and do the mission again if you want. There is no play after the end of the main story.

There is a "Point of No Return" save made just before you enter Embers. Because you still haven't spoken with Hanoko as far as that save is concerned, the mission is still active and you can keep coming back and coming back and coming back until you've exhausted all of the possible outcomes from it (or done one or more of them multiple times - depends on what you want to do).

AFAIK, there are only two things which modify that save. Without getting too spoiler-y on it, you can complete your tarot deck (pick up the 22nd card) by taking a different ending, and you can pick up an iconic for your weapon wall that can't be had until you take care of something in that mission. The slot for it doesn't appear until you've picked it up, so it's not like it's something which is obviously missing.

I am confused.

How do I get rid of it? Does it just stay there

You don't. After you complete it, V returns to just before the mission, so you can keep playing, or play the mission again to pick a different outcome. The mission doesn't seem to disappear in the vanilla game. Perhaps modding could help you, but I haven't touched that yet.

Makes sense.

I thought my game bugged out or something.

It can be manually deleted if you want to, but it's not going to get overwritten like quicksaves or autosaves.

This part of the game and my OCD is making my eye twitch every time I keep seeing the Nocturn op55n1 quest. I DON'T GIVE A RAT'S A$$ FOR THE ALTERNATE ENDINGS!

Agreed, its annoying and distracting, ruins immersion.
