Should I go to the "Point of No Return?"
I'm just wondering if I lose any access to side quests after finishing the main story? I've got a bunch of side-quests and gigs but I'm curious about how the main story ends.

So, if anyone has any insight I'd appreciate it.

Also, I'm revisiting Cyberpunk after playing it when it came out. And I seem to recall there were gang bases you could clear out. The cyberpunk equilivent of 'bandit camps' but I can't seem to find any in this playthrough.

Is there something I need to do to trigger them? Or am I remembering wrong?

I finished the game already as well, but as far as i could tell about once you finish the game. There is no New Game+ nor do you keep playing once you finish the game & when & if you do finish it, then you will be asked to Load the Save Game at the Loading Screen Window ( Like when you Launch the Game & hit Continue ) once you load your save file it will be like you never finished it but i think you get something after finishing the game ( Don't remember since it was a while when i finished the game myself ), so up to you if you wan't to finish the game now or later.

you will not be able to return to anything side quest related if you go past it.

finish everything before you go. not sure about the "assault in progress" stuff. maybe you completed all of it?

There is no post game. When you finish any ending you will just be placed back before the point of no return. I mean for certain endings there really wouldn't be a post game given their outcome. For others though it would have been nice to see how the game world reacts to the events that have unfolded.

You are placed back before the point of no return with the option of redoing a different ending. You also unlock items such as special armor and items. There is even a key you will need to gain access to a special room. Each ending provides a different set of items. Also any left over quests and gigs can be completed on the map with your new gear and items if you like.

straight up wrong. if you complete the game you get sent back to before the point of no return and can do anything you like, gigs, ncpd hussles, sidequests anything. including getting a different ending if the requirements are met.

If you play through the 'Point Of No Return' you will be returned to the game and be able to finish your remaining side gigs and play through the 'Point' _again_ if you want, making different decisions and finding a completely different endgame. That's what I'm doing right now...I first got the Devil ending and wow, it's pretty dark. I'm hoping for a much better one this time around.

Explore as much as you can before you go past the point of no return :dexter:

The best approach is to do whatever you can do before you hit the point of no return. The Point of No Return save can be reloaded after you finish whichever ending you decide to go with, but it's mostly there so that you don't have to replay the whole game to try a different ending. You won't be able to access your stash, access vendors, swap/buy cyberware, or go anywhere other than where that last mission points you until you complete the final mission. About the only things you get that stays with you are the achievement associated with the ending you chose, and a goodie that can be retrieved if you load back in after the credits roll (click the "Just One More Mission" button). I believe you also keep the 21st tarot card (which one that is depends on the ending you initially choose), so you can pick up the 22nd and complete your deck by loading the PONR and doing a different ending.
