Cat Food is Missing. Can't get cat!

I'm at the start of Act II, talked to Takemura, and found the note about feeding teh cat.

I made my way all the way to the Arasaka Warehouse and can't find the cat food. What is a crazy cat lady to do?

I want my cat!

It's basically checking on you every now and then to see if the human race is screwed up enough yet for them to take over the world, of course. Just like cats do IRL.

I just noticed the food vendor next to the gun store north of the ripperdoc in Heywood sells cat food.

I just checked this myself and they had 6 of them. It's in Cannery Plaza.

thats V's apartment kitty, it will spawn in random locations when you return to it

Afaik, V's Apartment is the only place to find and house the Kitty.

There’s at least one other cat of the same breed you can find on a container next to a small pool of water in a ditch in the city with the person who won it (presumably in a drinking contest or something) dead under the water. You can’t interact with that cat to the best of my knowledge though. I do have a screenshot of it on my profile though. (The guy has a conversation shard on him that explains a little)

I meant as far as obtaining one as a pet.

It would be good if you could move your Cat and Iguana to one of the new Apartments, but I haven't found any way of doing this.

Yea or have a choice of other pets and/or breeds to add too, that would be cool. Like a snake or a doggo. A fluffy cat rather than the hairless breed only. (I love nibbles but it isn’t my preferred breed of cat)

When you're in the Penthouse during the Heist, there is a tree display with a live iguana in it along the front all. If you search the display you will find an egg. Put egg in your apartment and months of game time later it will hatch.

Whoa Mind Blown. I am on my 7th run with nearly 1000 hours in Cyberpunk, I thought you were pulling my leg but no you are correct. Just goes to show what this game has to discover. I don't even think I saw the iguana in the penthouse.

Ah, just did a bit more research, the iguana egg was added with patch 1.5. My previous 6 runs were pre 1,5. Don't feel quite as bad now having only missed this once.

There’s glitches you can use to get to it if you missed it too. Or trainers for infinite jumps work as well.
