Already ran into a game breaking bug and I haven't even gotten beyond the tutorial...

I got to the 4th tutorial (advanced combat) and I couldn't even get beyond the 3 fast attacks. I punched this guy at least 500 times with quick jabs and it didn't count a single one. I tried power attacks too. I even tried to get him to kill me, but the health regen was too much for him to be able to do it. With seemingly no way out, I had to close the game to get out of this endless loop of bs... cool stuff, considering the game's already been out for a year...

I tried loading back in and I'm still in that tutorial and it's broken each time I've tried it. I'm just gonna go ahead and refund. I'm not gonna be forced to restart the game over a bug when I'm not even 30 minutes into the game... So much for quality, I guess.

What tutorial are you talking about, tho? I didn't have a tutorial for melee save for the Coach Fred and his bot, near V's apartment. This is entirely optional. If you mean the tutorial T-Bug provides you before a mission, you can skip that too.

I have not yet encountered any bugs so far, I'm 2.3 hours into the game. Completed that tutorials pretty quick. Melee is a bit clumsy, but still good enough I think.

At about 1:05 it shows them punching the AI 3 times and completing it. It gave 0 progression for me regardless of how many times I punched. It's not that I'm not doing it right, it's that the game isn't registering hits as far as the quest is concerned, for whatever reason

Only thing I could suggest is making sure you are just tapping punch, even briefly holding it down doesn't count as fast attack for that quest.
If you choose to keep the game, manual save regularly to avoid frustrations like this, as most issues can be fixed with a simple reload.

Would bug report this one if you're running a vanilla 1.31 OP, as it seems very strange - as you can tell from nobody saying 'me too' here. You'll have to check on CDPR's site for how to bug report for whichever platform you're playing on.
