Dodging doesn't work

I play the Tutorial where i learn the fight mechanics. In last step i have to doging against the Enemy.

The Tasks is: "Press A/S/D/W twice for doging"

I press the Keys twice and fast, but nothing happens. It seems the Guy not doging.

Go to the forum page, find the search thingy and type "cant dodge a hit" ... first hit

Do you have this option for double tap dodge allowed in settings?

I found the dodge distance to be to slight to be worth the effort.

@gatto_nero - your solution works for me. I disabled "allow double tap" and used crouch + direction, now i can dodging. Maybe the normal way also is a Bug..
