quest bugged, these boots are made for walking
car wont spawn at all, ive tried reloading the game, fast traveling and relaunching the game nothing works. any ideas?

Do you actually own a car? Is the vehicle call indicator highlighted to show you have one? There is a part in the game where you dont have one because it was crashed and needs repair. Otherwise ... just walk up to a car on the road, grab the driver, toss him into the street and drive off.

its part of the quest "these boots are made for walking" its the side quest you get if you choose the nomad start

Hmm, just looked it up on wiki. I started Nomad but I dont get what the wiki says. Act 2 going into the badlands for your "first" car. I'm part way into act 2, havent gone into the badlands, and have had a car or a motorcycle the whole time. Sorry, my first play through and cant help any further.
edit: aha, just read another wiki and now I understand the reference to your "first car". I havent done Ghost Town yet.

had this issue too, patch 1.31 fixed it for me though. only way i can think of is either by re-validating the files on steam or re-downloading the whole game if you already have the patch. if either of those don't work you'll probs have to wait till the next patch? sorry if neither of those are helpful

those are both options i had thought about and was hoping to avoid
