Adam Smasher Loot Spoiler

So as part of the main story (Nocturne OP55N1) in Arasaka Tower I killed Adam Smasher and took the 2 legendary drops he had, one being a smart smg and one being a shotgun.

The only issue is though, once you beat this quest, it returns you back to before you completed it so now these 2 drops are gone.

So how do I actually get them?

Iconic weapons are retained, the rest is not. Also beating him will unlock his office in the ship you raid with Rogue.

If you go to the office entioned above you can get the schematic for the ?shotgun? I believe. Not sure about a smart SMG. Might just have gotten a Legendary Normal.

From reloading the save these don't sound like dedicated drops, but the names are: D5 Sidewinder, M2038 tactician - both legendary. Is the reason I lost them because they are just legendary and not iconic?

Like I said, some loot is kept. Some endings have iconic weapons in them, and you keep them. Other stuff is also "granted" even if it is not an iconic weapon. Legendary cyberware, for example. There are some old guides in the internet with the list for each ending. AFAIK they are still current in 1.5.
