Buying all cars
Im currently 100% the game in my 2nd playtrough and so far i did all NCPD and fixer jobs in the City. All thats left are 8 fixer jobs in the badlands and some NCPD jobs. Im lvl 50. I got around 400k Eddies, upgraded all desired clothing. cyberware and weapons so the only thing i really spend money on a regular basis is crafting grenades and meds. I did almost all major side missions aswell and my next main mission is to meet Hanako.

I have not bought any of the cars so far and iirc the combined cost goes over 1 mio and now i worry that im not able to buy all the cars anymore before finishing.

What are your tips on earning money late game? Keep in mind that my INT is at 7 so i can't get to far from hacking data links for money.

If you have Tech. Selling the highest profitable legendary weapon also goes a long way.

Craft and sell stuff for profit?

As your Legendary weapons get better when you make them they are worth more, I buy mats and make Ashura over and over and sell them, skipping a day making Ashuras and selling them, over and over again at the sunset model arms dealer. Sometimes the dealer runs out of money.

So for now I make a profit of about 1500 €$ per weapon at level 41.

There's two methods:

Method 1
You need high level Technical skill and "Edgerunner Artisan" to be able to craft legendaries.
At this point, go to a weapon merchant and buy craftin materials.
What you want to craft is either A-22B Chao or HJKE-11-Yukimura:
They each sell for 2870$ each.
Required crafting materials:
11 rare component, 11 epic component, 2 legendary component
(default requirements without upgrades: 20 rare, 20 epic, 3 legendary)

Buy their stock, craft, sell, then fast-forward 24hours to restock.
Easy money fast.

Method 2
Second method is a bit slower but it's perfect for perk exp farming too.
Go to Pacifica Pier. Enemies keep respawning as you go from one end of the beach to the other.

Anything that sells for more than the cost will give you profit that's basic business but it's more about how often you have to do it.

I thought about getting all the cars and i was like na im good.

In my first playthrough i got all money legit, but in the second one i just gave myself unlimited money with cyber engine tweaks. I mean what's the point wasting so much time crafting, selling stuff, waiting 24 hours, over and over and over again, if you can get the money much more easy. Sure it's not legit, but it doesn't matter, it just ends the tediousness.

Im always glad after im level 20 in tech and don't have to waste any time on it anymore. Then it's just the story, sidequests, gigs, and exploring the city, and no other tedious BS anymore. Crafting selling and waiting is not fun. Especially with that inventory menu.

I also got myself unlimited crafting materials, so i don't have to loot every lousy enemy that drops a lexington or BS weapon. Now i just look if they dropped something special, if not i just don't loot it and move. The game is much more fun, if you only do the not tedious stuff.

It's a singleplayer game, we are allowed to do with it what we want so why not.

Got two characters right now. One male Corporation character Rifle Pistol Katana Gorilla hands. Second char Female Street kid Shotgun Light machine gun Projectile launcher. I like motorcycles a lot because its easier to get through traffic.

Mexicola9302, I guess it's about doing it without cheating. I have used tweaks to finish one quest and turn on transmog, but now they have fixed the quest.

I'm currently at level 44 2/3rds of the way though the game and not having even tried to make a lot of money beyond selling everything over $100. I just hit $800,000 and have spent `$300,000 money of cars, cyberwear, guns and other random things.

It seems hacking really does make a big difference if that is what you aren't doing.

With all the hacking perks I am making about an extra 1 to 3 k per hack and some buildings have anything up to 10 of them.

Just to see how practical it is I did start making and selling guns and made about 200K in an hour of real time wandering about finding components and vendors to sell them.

Did you start this playthrough before or after 1.5 dropped? They give out eddies like candy since 1.5 so you end up without far more, without even touching crafting, in a totally new run than pre 1.5.

the more i know about the cars the whole achievement just seems dumb to me. In fact you even get the same car model twice. Might aswell cheat the money i see no point in grinding that money to buy two "Mizutani Shions" Its just to many cars to buy in the game and as much as i love this game im not wasting my time on it. The whole thing should be something like "buy atleast 8 vehicles or something.

It's really just for people 100%ing the game. I had a boatload of every time I go close to 100% and could do it purely as a random side thing without having to focus on it.

I am 100%ing it but the whole concept of the car achievement is off point with having to get the same models 2-3 times. Also you can't really compare yourself to casual players when having +900 hours in the game. Everybody should be able to make boatloads of money with that amount of playtime. Kudos tho

btw today I finally did 100% achievements - YOU CAN DO THIS Redshirt !

Did you also have to wait for the "reach lvl 20 in one ability" to count for you? I reached 20 in tech like 20 mins ago but the achievement is still not counted.
