Can't buy items from Viktor.

I want to get Target Analysis from him but it seems that I can't right now. I assume it's got something to do with V's dept to him?

Yes you need to pay the 21K first, then you can buy things from him again.

figured as much. well I paid the debt and can get things now. only problem is getting more eddies for the tech.

Once your levels are high enough (I'm not sure if it was technical or intelligence getting to 12), then I think that's what opens the crafting spec for Target Analysis to be sold at the ripper that's right near the junk shop in Kabuki. It's worth while to the get the spec instead of the mod itself, since it also sells at a nice profit and weighs 0 if you make and carry a bunch on you.

Actually, maybe it was something to do with the street cred level. Early on, the spec wasn't there at that ripper even though I read that it would be, and later on when I checked again, it was there. You'll need to have the perk to craft rare items, too.

Ok, stupid question time, how do I buy the spec from him, All I get is the update my cyberware option. I paid my debt and have SC50.

At the top, there's a tab for "trade", even though it defaults to the "cyberware" tab. It's easy to miss. You can also sell them things from there.

the crafting spec is pretty expensive tho.

oh well I already paid my debt anyway. wanted to get the mantis arms he's selling.

Edit: just realized i dont need viktor for that. didnt need the street creds then tho. THough now i'm curious about the legendary version.

I think Victor is the only ripper who sells the 3-slot epic Kiroshi eye.

You might have needed at least some of your street creds after all. Early on in the game, the ripper in Kabuki didn't have the target analysis spec, but later he did. It was either my street cred going up that did it, or something else like crafting. I'll check next time I play to see which one has the "vendors will sell you more items" when leveled high enough.

The trade tab of the rippers, (that is the one with the schematics) has a random selection like the other vendors, so sometimes the schematic will be there and sometimes not.
