Disable ALL Music
Is there a way to disable all music in the game without just muting the overall audio? This game has the most annoying music I've ever heard in a game. You can turn off the menu, game soundtrack and car radio garbage, but the in-game radios can't be, and yet they're absolutely everywhere in the game and so you're constantly being assaulted by heavy metal screaming, "we are not the sheep, we were made to rule" and that asian girl going "yes, no, yes, no, arber-sa-dar" or whatever the hell she's saying.

I get music is subjective and so you're not going to be able to please everyone, but isn't that why most games have an option to turn it off? I don't care if it makes the game sound emptier, it's well worth it to not have my ears poked with knives.

I'll continue enjoying Cyberpunk 2077 regardless of the garbage music, and if I find a mod that gets rid of it or the developers implement an option to like every other game in existence, I'll enjoy it substantially more. No thanks for your useless inputs.

maybe stop acting lile a spoilt kiddo, no one gives a hoot about your issue.
It was a simple question about a simple implementation that literally thousands of games have. Learn to read instead of spouting useless crap I can already tell having a discussion with you would be like talking to a brick wall because your initial comment totally ignores things acknowledged in my reply to someone else right before it.

This is pretty much a topic for a new discussion thread. :)

Speaking of acting like a spoilt kiddo. You should stop acting like one as well.

Davies Hung asked a question, stayed reasonable and after all was even friendly over the majority of his comments. You didn´t. And that makes you, at least from my point of view, a clown.
I've honestly been re-reading my stuff because I'm confused as to how I've managed to rile things up outside of my unnecessary dismissal of the music itself, which I understand can make people defensive, hence the apology. After that, I don't get it, and I have no patience for people who refuse to read what's written.
I'm glad someone can understand my point of view. I was wondering where I'd gone wrong but just couldn't see how. This is very typical of my experience on Steam forums, so I shouldn't be surprised.

not to state the obvious, but have you checked under the sound settings in game? theres an option to change the volume of both 'music' and 'car radio'. with just briefly using the music option at zero ive had no idle music in game or combat music play.

So the music slider is for contextual music such as boss fights or ambient music. And car radio is for, well, car radios. For some weird reason they lumped radios (IE the one in your apartment and the many that are littered around the city) into the SFX category. So the only way to silence all of those is to turn off all sound effects. I agree that it was an odd choice to be sure. However a bullet or a throwing knife is like a universal remote for every radio.

Yeah, I don't get the hate. Your request isn't unreasonable. "I want more toggle options in my game." takes nothing away from people who disagree with you. I also prefer games have baked in options over mods.

new mod just came out that disables all in world radios, the ones not affected by the music option or radio settings.

Consider it a hidden minigame, Brett. Shoot at the radios/speakers to make them shut up.

The thing is since you go to most places only once it's not worth destroying them all. Can I destroy the transmission tower or are they net based?

I just want to turn them all off at once. They don't even mask you sneaking.

That sounds like a fun mission. That would have visible in world consequences. Maybe a few options like destroy the transmitter, upload Johnnys old music into it, turn off every channel but the one you like and it plays on every channel now. 10/10 would become pirate radio station.

the ingame radios are there to be used in game. If you use quick hack to turn one on or off it will distract a bad guy, luring him to it. So no you can't turn them all off across the entire game. Rather, learn to use them as a tool in the game play.

It's a valid critique. Don't get upset because I think your screamo ♥♥♥♥ sucks.

Why not throw the knife at the radio instead?
Don't have one. Also time consuming running around finding every radio just to turn them off when there could be a mod that disables it.

And with that reply your "everyone has a different taste" overboard. On one side crying like a little baby on the other side making fun of other ppl´s taste.

Just block trolls like him or hypocrites, thats just the same.
