The plans also weren't scrapped totally. The last information we have is that they want to incorporate multiplayer features into CP2077 at some point. However these will look we don't have any details on. That's just how it is sometimes....plans change.
However, even if they scapped the multiplayer completly, all I can say is good...I prefer them working on singleplayer, unlike R* who has a tendency to forget about singleplayer very quickly.
We actually knew nothing about the planned stand-alone multiplayer except that it was to be its own stand-alone product. Everything you said is just speculation.
That point won't be any time soon, since people are still buying and enjoying CP77 and there is still a high level of interest in seeing it develop further.
GTA Online has also been getting updates for the last 6 years, ima press X to doubt that cyberpunk will see the same. Rockstar are hardly perfect, and take two are not a beacon of hope in the industry, but please, in terms of final product quality, cdpr just needs to sit down and take notes....from GTA San Andreas.
Sure, R* did a great job fixing all the bugs and glitches in 18 Years...They are a glowing example....^^
And this is only me looking for like 5 seconds on google and opening the first hit...^^
Otherwise you don't wanna sit down and compare half a dozen glitches to the laundry list that is cyberpunks bugs and issues. We'd be here lot longer than 5 seconds.
