How much sex and nudity can i turn off?

I am not a fan of graphic sex-scenes in games, and I read that there is a censored option in the game. How effective is this option? Or is there even an option?

You'll not see a nipple with it on - rescue a naked woman and she'll be wearing underwear. The sex scenes will still play (if you choose options to have them) but the characters will be in underwear. They're not graphic in any case. Much is hinted at, little is shown.

Am I able to skip the sex scenes? Like is there a button that I can press to skip it? That would be convenient, otherwise it shouldn't be that big of a problem.

Believe so. There's one scene which you can't avoid through ingame choices and you can skip through that. Other montages should be the same.

I get what you're asking OP, but I don't get why you bought the game.

The game clearly says in the description:
- Rated M for Mature
- Strong Sexual Content
- Nudity

Nudity can be somewhat censored, however not the sexual content.

Just be aware that there are a few dildos and other sex toys in the world and very sexually suggestive advertising. This is a sort of 1000% exaggerated nightmare version of future America where consumerism, style over substance, etc have taken over.

I see. Well there won't be porn in terms of visible penetration, but there will be sex scenes. Much like nudity: You can cover the nipple, but the rest of the breast will be clearly seen. As said: there are dildos - very suggestive ads - and a whole host of sexual imagery in this game. Not to mention that this is a cyberpunk game, and sex is a part of that genre.

Just something to keep in mind OP.

You will not see outright depictions of penetration or direct depictions of the mechanics of other actual sex acts and you never see a naked erect penis. Stuff that goes some way to suggest it from time to time, including a covered erect penis once or twice in static adverts, yes. But not actual porn.

In any case, sexual imagery is much more prominent in the background imagery of the game than as a feature of the plot. Having sex might come up maybe five or six times in an average playthrough as part of the story. It is not what the story is about.

I always find it amusing that you pretty much never see the question "can I turn of violence in this game, yet regularly you see that question about sexuality...
Brutality is obviously never a problem...but beware seeing some nude nipples...those things are dangerous...^^
I mean you do you, whatever makes you happy...
But there certainly is no pornography in this game, as has been said before. For that kind of game you'll have to look elsewhere :P

Yeah, ofc...as we established, nude nipples are obviously even more dangerous than sniper rifles or rocket launchers...so why wouldn't they fight nude...^^

I feel like with Cyberpunk, it's what it *wasn't* rated M for Mature that you need to know

That Mature ESRB rating reads like a Nutrition Facts label on a box of Cheerios. Sex/Nudity/Strong Sexual Content, Use of Drugs and Alcohol, Violence, Blood & Gore, Strong Language

It's...I mean, it's not one of the porn games on Steam, but for one of the more popular titles, it definitely doesn't leave much room to the imagination.
