Non Stop Sandstorms
The more I play this patch the more annoyed I get. Now I had sandstorm weather for the past 2 hours. I forwarded time 24 hrs like 20 times for it to go away. It disappeared for half minute then it started again.

Try sleeping.

Ooof that it reappeared. If you've got the original save you fast forwarded it from, might be worth reporting it to CDPR: https://support.cdprojektred.com/en/cyberpunk/pc/gameplay/issue/1736/i-want-to-report-a-visual-issue

edit: as a workaround, what happens if you go to the roof of the Bladerunner hotel and force time/weather change there?

oof I'm getting the same issue sandstorms ever 30 real time minutes it's frustrating it would be a different story if I was seeing any of the other weather but no just freaking sandstorm after sandstorm and it really makes me want to just quit playing entirely!

I've got a bit of an update! after completing the story line for Panam the sandstorms seem to stop somewhat! so there is that but if i skip a day then skip 2 hours they go away so its somewhat manageable.

It reappeared again for me too with this recent patch. I found that if I skip time to night, and then skip to morning then it disappears, but if I skip a full day then it stays in sandstorm weather.

I don't want do spoilers here, but you can for sure google it. There is a place in the game which is a scene from the movie Blade Runner. When you enter this place, it should start raining (and the clock goes to 00:00). Maybe the rain puts the sandstorms to an end.

I wonder if it is being used to not need to render stuff until it has to? I had nonstop sandstorms the other night until I finally got around to the fortune teller quest, and going into the corp farms?

BAM. sandstorms gone like somebody pressed "delete sandstorm". beautiful view of the clear sky and all the drones in the sky. no sandstorms from then out that session. "Wow, the game sure is beautiful when the game is allowed to render it right."

More likely it is Probably just sandstorms glitching into 'on' by getting considered tied to rain weather type (SO much more rain than I remember. I don't think I have seen a single umbrella)

They can't all be "This one time a game added 'your ride set on fire with a new hidden heat meter if you use speed 3 out of three' to discourage players seeing pop in by driving at good speeds" god that game was a wild ride to watch the development of.

For anyone not aware of it, on release the game would only very, very rarely change weather from dry/sunny because of how shifts in weather system were being done weighting it so heavily towards sunny following sunny. I wonder whether some people are seeing something of the reverse, obviously assuming vanilla game. Why it would be worth reporting it to CDPR on link I posted up there back for 1.5 if you have a save where this will always happen.

I've had 3 or 4 hours of sandstorms a couple times but it does stop eventually.
