I just use Digital Foundry settings. Seems pretty on point even after the updates.

Alright I’ll try that, so you have a link to it?

With my OC'd (using GFE) 2070S, I run ultra on everything except med RT lighting. DLSS on balanced, and get little to no stutter in-game due to also using a VRR panel. Your milage may vary though...:happy_yeti:

If you want FPS, play max low like any other game. Use lower resolutions, etc.

If you want a good balance between performance and visual fidelity...

You should also be using a proper CPU with that GPU. Since you haven't told us much about your system, can't say if you are harming yourself by bottle-necking one area or another.

This game slams CPU and GPU pretty hard. In many cases you might need to limit yourself to a half-refresh rate with vsync enabled to get the smoothest and best looking experience. Doing so however would limit your FPS to 30, which honestly isn't bad as long as it never drops below that.

You guys are funny because my buddy plays this game on a GTX 1060 and his performance is just fine. Lol. I think you guys have other problems with your systems that are ultimately the cause of the performance problems you are seeing in game.
