1.5 Starting Issues workaround

1- Navigate to steam folder and go into the Cyberpunk 2077 Folder
2- setup_redlauncher - Click and Install
3- You should now have an Application - REDprelauncher - Use that to start Cyberpunk
If it brings up the launcher and you get the Flatline box - close the launcher and re-launch it till Cyberpunk starts Over and over again.
I notice when you start the launcher and hit the play button there is a bunch of files being created in the folder that are text documents 1- an Error doc and 2- an EXE Doc
There is something going on with the launcher crashing.
I would pin the prelauncher to your start menu to make this easier.

I don't get it. It worked perfectly for me yesterday and now I permanently have that crash everytime at start.

I have that flatline box a few seconds after launching the game from REDprelauncher. Asking me to send a report.

Starting from REDprelauncher.exe into the Cyberpunk 2077 file and not from the steam library seems to work for me. Hope it will last.

I have RivaTunerStastisticsServer running behind but idk/think it would have any link with the crash.

I'm getting the same issue, crash on startup. Really odd they'd put out an update that prevents you from even getting into the game.

I'm having this exact same issue. It's unbelievable frustrating. I've verified game files and reinstalled and turned off the RED launcher. Nothing helps.

After the update, the game was running ok yesterday for few hours, except 30% lower fps than before update with same settings. Just before I was about to quit the game for the day, it crashed and now it crashes every time I try to launch the game.

@angelreloaded .. I stumbled upon this work around myself the other day and concur with all you said. Many say it's the Nahimic Sound drivers that are causing this no launch issue and probably is an issue, but I have that and still my game launches with out disabling them doing what I did.. I already had REDprelauncher installed to begin with, so yes try this easy fix to see if it works for you, as I've been posting to other below ...
Had same problem & did a Fresh Re-Install with No Mods that did not help. What "fixed" it for me is to go into your SteamLibrary/Steamapps/common/CyberPunk 2077 and click on the REDprelauncher. e.x.e file inside there to launch the game instead of clicking on your usual Steam Library "Play" button or any other old CP2077 short-cuts on your desktop you may have used before. Give it a shot! .. Nothing to lose in trying it out! ...
