Is this game finally worth it after Patch 1.5?
As the title asks, is Cyberpunk finally worth the admission price?

I mean, the game looks awesome. Night City definitely looks like a world I want to explore. The gameplay looks fun. And the story looks interesting as well.

But I have been weary to give it a shot because of all the game breaking bugs I heard about, the driving being subpar, and all the promises that the devs made that weren't delivered.

But is the game finally worth checking out?

Definitely not for $60. There are still a lot of bugs even with this newest patch. I just started a new game today and during the first quest (when you save the chick from the ice tub), I saw mesh lines and blue flickering on the floor in the first shootout area, and I could not open my phone when I was prompted to, bricking my save. Had to restart. Thankfully it was like only 30mins of progress, but imagine if that happened late in the game.

If you really want to play the game (Since videos/screenshots do make the game look awesome), I would say spend no more than $30.

EDIT: The driving is fixed in third person, but in first person the FOV is still too low if you play at your desk. If you play from a TV or far, then you're good on the driving side.

The game has always been worth it.

Of course, for folks who don't like the game, they'll say otherwise.

No.

No. Was worth it on sale before (Bought it Day 1 and never had a problem my first playthrough). Am getting Flatline messages as soon as I updated it GoG. Clearly, they made new problems.

Did buy it for $60 - absolutely worth it. I'm getting close to 240 hours of gameplay by now. Still not bored. Of course, it's all a matter of personal taste. One person's perfect game can be another person's dumpster fire ...

I wouldn't say that it's worth it's price point, even now, but I will say that it's better than it was in 2020 and 21.

Also my bad, I refer to the full price. It's worth about $45 imo with the 1.5 patch.

I would say yes its worth it now more than ever, i was waiting for a decent fix before i started playing. You can look at my hours spent in the game. And i got it Dec 8th 2020 as a pre order. And here we are finally in 2022 and its finally playable and im not having a singlular issue. And the patch as many new features added to the game. Go ahead and jump in.

Nice! So a demo is going to be released on Gamepass?
@ZeekAncient bro just 100% god of war and atleast finish the story of witcher3, amazing games, checked ur steam profile :)
maybe buy cpunk on summer sale or any major sale. GL.

Yeah, forgot. Just try the free demo when it's available, you'll be able to play for 5 hours (some claim you can finish the entire game within that timeframe - dunno about that) and if you decide to buy it, you'll be able to transfer your demo gamesave to the full version.

I know, lmao, I definitely have a back log of games that I need to finish. My time is limited. God of War I will most definitely finish. Witcher 3 I bought super cheap last summer during a sale, so I don't know if I will ever get around to it. But maybe I should.

Currently playing Doom Eternal on Steam, and this is a game I already played through the Bethesda Launcher. But I was so sick of playing that game on that launcher, since it has no cloud saves, and I forgot that like 3 times, and lost my all my progress 3 times. So I decided to buy it on Steam.

I am currently playing a lot of games. I play a little of one, then another, then another, then another, and then back to the original, lol.

But the world of Cyberpunk just looks so damn awesome. I am more in to that type of world then I am a fantasy world like Witcher 3. Even though Witcher 3 is probably the better overall game.

Anyways, I wish I had more time.

Always been worth the $30 for the city alone. Not worth $60.

They are prolly 2% done with what needs to be done. That 2% took 14 months. 98% more to go. ETA: the year 2077.

Their project plan has been revealed.

Are you ok?
Ares Feb 15, 2022 @ 6:33pm
No, probably not. After reinstalling I go to start a new game and V in the character creation screen is black, like pitch black. I have updated drivers and verified files, and the problem persists. bugs before I even get into the game? lol come on.
