Enemies Instantly notice V
Playing a hacker V, noticed enemies do a mad dash towards V with no indication of where the player is. For example: Hacking a group of enemies from on top of a building to avoid eyesight, and crouching to avoid noise- after the first hack hits, and no they did not see me at all, they all get sent on alert (normal) but begin trying to pathfind to where I am despite not having any visual confirmation. There is no enemy hacker, my position has not been traced, they did not see me, there are no cameras that can detect me. This is also not an isolated instance, it has happened a few times. Instances have so far occured in Kabuki, while doing NCPD jobs such as the organized crime takeout and reported assault. Note that enemies dont attack the player until line of sight has been established, but they path find to the player without looking around properly.

Welcome to the world of CDPR! Don't be surprised just yet. This is only a small piece of what CDPR does in this game. You will also get blown up by mines that are not even active. Or better yet. Get blown up by mines that are not even near ya. Yea the game needs to be fixed. But CDPR as a company needs a even bigger fix.

Because some players moaned how ridiculous easy the game is as a netrunner, since you can wipe out everything without ever facing any danger/threat/challange. Just imagine they all have the perk which highlights netrunners who hack you.

If this were the case, it'd be nice to be notified and have a counter. And should this be the case, its not fair to my more squishy V who has to wait between hacks when in combat. And the random instances when ram refuses to recover. Also another glitch worth pointing out is some items being unable to be picked up

The issues in the game are being fixed. As for the company, you can blame the publishers and higher ups for the overhype and unfinished product. The devs do what they can, and they are working with what they got.

I can just tell you what happened at the start. You could get to a point where V was able to kill an entire area off with one hack (I think it is contagion) and everyone was mad how easy the game is in every difficulty. No one wanted counter or anything.
In the end, you can't make it right for everyone, I guess.
You should become more mobile, they can't shoot through objects, so run from cover to cover. And don't let V become too squishy, for there are battles you can't avoid.

I have only seen more and more bug with every patch. Hardly call that fixing the game. Maybe somewhere in the game something is better or "fixed". I haven't encountered it yet.

To throw in another point of view: 5 or 6 playthroughs so far, not even once a gamebreaking bug, mostly glitches. If the game weren't so unbalanced and wouödn't have those small bugs, i would give it a very positive review.

Actually, I cannot confirm this, at all.
Hacking is still able to kill everything quickly an stealthily. The only exception I have found is when you use legendary ping while having cripple movement or sonic shock equipped at the same time.
I‘ve file a bug about that. Everything else seems like it‘s always been.
Note that they may _hear_ you if you’re not crouching/sneaking.

This has not been my experience.

Where did this happen?

Are you using some kind of legendary quickhack? If you are, pay close attention to the "passive" bonus that those quickhacks give you, because some of those will cause enemies to be alerted if used in combination with other quickhacks.

Example: i think the weapon glitch quickhack will add a daemon to your breach protocol that if you upload it to the enemy causes all the enemies in the network to have their weapons glitched, this will naturally cause the enemies to be on alert.

Another one is cyberwar malfunction + ping. Everytime you ping, enmies will have the cyberware malfunction effect and be unabled to move, this causes them to be on alert.

I haven't done another playthrough since the latest hotfix, but at least on 1.2 i didn't had any issues using a netrunner build with stealth, until i started using legendary quickhacks which is when i started to run into the small issues with their passives.

Lots of replies, a few didnt read everything in my OP. Im still fairly early game with run, and I'm getting into using the contagion quickhack. A good balance for it is that it should only hit an enemy once. Also I've no legendary quickhacks. And I'm aware of certain fights, I've started snipe-hacking as well so im out of firing range and able to use hacks.

Stealth has been broken from day 1. Dunno if they fixed it yet but used to be that if you threw a body into a box you would get instant "body detected".
I have never had that happen to me, ever, playing since 1.0.6.
I'm amazed how often I read blanket statements about stuff that's supposedly completely broken and has always worked as advertised for me ... fascinating.

Once you get the perk that hacks can crit, and the cyberdeck that makes it so hacks affect all nearby enemies, and get +12% crit mods by having the perk that lets you retain mods from dissabling items and then just looting them, you can kill everything in the area with 1 hack cause getting 100% crit chance is easy.
Again, early game

If you strip V of their clothes they will go invisible. Easy.
