You've triggered the defenders, next time start your critique with "I love the game and I'm not a hater, but please..."

Its argument when you try educate player about systems in game. If you have category term JUNK. Make it clear it contains non important stuff. Like items with no value and trash. Something to salvage like iron etc. When you add rewards to junk category is same as throwing money to fireplace. Badly done system. Like if weapon category contains junk people would complain.

This is why trash cans read what you can place where. Same goes recycling stuff... You don´t add gold to plastic recyclable trashcan. When this game does so broad generalization with exceptions of junk term.

Like gods sake many other game´s had similar issues where people would accidentally destroy guest ruining items. So future game´s they added warning colors do not break this item.

"Getting mad on forumses" and I also forgot "needlessly sectarianizing the fandom of a game".

I do agree, mind you: the GAME's definition of "junk" is kinda messed up.

And you could fix that a lot of different ways. You could for instance take the 750-eddy jewelry out of that class, maybe give "fluff" items a quality (uncommon, rare, etc). Let the perk disassemble the white items (which we make sure are near worthless), and leave the "better items" to player discretion.

Sure. Personally whole you need to perk to dismantle items in mass quantity is silly perk. This should be basic trash disposal button in inventory. Like game throws at player so much items and expecting player going thru them one at time to dismantling is silly. Like having UI randomize weapon locations in inventory each time you dismantle item and sometimes teleport iconic weapon under dismantle order.

Sorry about sounding "toxic" or "menacing" with text.

This is a very early perk, it is possible many players may get it before any piece of jewelry.
That's what happened to me. And while I didn't miss out on a significant amount of money overall, I would have appreciated the option to hold a button down while picking up junk I didn't want to dissassemble to keep it intact.

Honestly never took that perk because it has another downside. Perk points are valuable especially early in the game, to disassemble the junk is a button push. Always thought it was a waste of a perk point to have the game auto do something like that for me anyway.

Weighed it differently. Started selling white guns instead of disassembling them because of the influx of common item components was getting from junk dissassembly made it possible to do that.
NorthernDavid Apr 28, 2021 @ 9:48am
You still get the components if you manually disassemble the junk.

Yeah, I know. But only one of these ways means you don't have to do it manually.

Inventory management still needs some work, IMO

The option to turn that off is already there.

OP

Did you catch that?
Zero McDol Apr 28, 2021 @ 9:59am
Jewelry is junk and junk gets disassembled. How to fix it: Go to a ripper, cough up 25k eddies, and reset your perks.

Do not re-buy the auto disassemble perk.
