you can also do it by crafting uncommon clothes, for example a jacket, but that one is an even more tedious process because you'll need to sell a lot of shirts x).
Problem with that solution is that I'm like level 3 in the tech skill section, there's no way I'll be able to craft legendaries items (I can only craft legendary hacking stuff cause I have intelligence at 20). Seems to me developers didn't think this through well when they designed the achievement. Either you lower the amount of cars you can buy or give users a way to get money without having particular skills or using exploits.
I'm doing that already, but encounters will end soon when you do all the NCPD stuff... no way you'll reach that sum by then
Yeah I'm doing it since the very beginning of the game actually, but it doesn't seem to me you get that much. I guess I'll keep trying like this...
you can craft uncommon items right? if you can, you should be able to still do it, the problem in that case however will be getting all the materials for it, since you'll burn through common and uncommon materials very fast by going with that approach, still possible, but yeah it will be a grind. I agree, that achievement is not a fun one go after.
Hmmm... yeah I think I could go for that at least. I hope it will give me a nice amount, we'll see :)
Thanks
you get about 1k per uncommon jacket you make.
Are those random encounters that keep going forever? Because if that's the case, then at least I know I could grind it like this
Eg on the beach at Pacifica there's a sort of barbecue gathering that always returns.
Also farming security bots in the AWACS Zone in the desert could net you hardware to sell though you do have to content with police spawns than.
Changes are the achievement is meant for after the DLC is released being that we have a casino and several clubs we can not visit yet.
Do the map side missions even if they are grey. As you lvl, the loot sells for more. The good, eddies will start to add up fast. Bad news is the story missions become just to easy.
My last playthrough I came close to owning all the cars, but I ended up spending almost as much on clothes.
Fun gaming all.
