Crafted weapons get a 5% increase to damage once you have the perk for it. Same for crafted armors getting an increase to armor %, however considering the crafting choices, it's a definite no on armor crafting; for me at least.
Nowaki AR, one in game no legend craft.
Tamayara Pistol, epic is the best I have found & no recipe and missing mag in reload animation with sight floating above weapon.
Shigure Smg, epic is the best I have found with no recipe.
Also DB2 Satara I could not find or a recipe.
Right now you don't really need it, though. Even if you don't skill crafting and aren't able to _craft_, you are able to _upgrade_ your weapons no matter the tier. So, if you know where to find it, you may pick up a legendary weapon before endgame and keep it. Or you save some scratch and buy a legendary weapon at the vendor. The 10% more firepower isn't really needed. If you have skilled in that weapon, it does enough damage.
Right now I am on a playthrough almost without crafting and wear a complete legendary equipment.
Very much this. Find a weapon that suits your style and use it.
No need for crafting if you like Skippy.
Monowire is also probably the best melee weapon in the game, if you build for it.
In reality: It doesen't really matter. This game does not have a linear difficulty curve, it has an inverted one. You start out very weak, and end up a demigod. At endgame, it really doesen't matter if your gun does 10% more damage, you'll melt enemies just fine without it.
I woulden't go quite that far. Picking anything but "sniper" is not really gimping yourself, it's just not min/max'ing.
But yeah, if you want to min/max, you can start doing it from the moment you finish the Dorsett job.
