this game used to have busy traffic before. now it just became fallout
i9 9900k, 64 GB ram, 1 TB NVMe (Both OS + Game install), Crowd Density and LOD set to high. There's no reason for me to have issues streaming in game assets and 1.06 was fine.
I was enjoying the story and graphics to be honest, but the pathfinding and NPC despawning makes this game unplayable to me.

Looks like CDPR optimized traffic memory usage by basically removing it... Not sure why this had to be done on PC... So fewer cars on the road and less diversity between them. I guess we'll have to wait for a mod to fix this. I think this flipped me from they'll fix it to team pull out a pitch fork and join the mob.
