Money problems
I have completed the whole game, every gig, sidequest, and NCPD job and still dont have enough money to buy all the cars. Did I do something wrong?

I admit I bought some expensive cyberware at some point, but thats it, but I consider ludicrous that you have to save all your money just to buy all the cars.

money making sucks in this game. you can just use a console command to give yourself millions through cyber engine tweaks, if you don't care about "cheating."

Its actually a terrible in Game economy. You can maybe buy 1 of the pricey cars from all the money you get from doing stuff. Anything beyond that you are gonna have to scrounge and sell stuff.

RPG. get grinding doing laps slaughtering gang groups.

Was you dismantling all the weapons into components and stuff or selling them?
I don't craft much in game so sell near everything I don't want to keep.
I don't purchase cyberware (only things I have crafted)
Clothing I Just found somethings I liked and upgraded them.
Have about 5 cars left to buy and over 800,000 eddies in the bank (surprised myself when I noticed lol) without the need to cheat :)
Have about 35-40% of the map sidequests/gigs left to still do and all of the main story (clearing the map before talking to takemura for 1st time) also I take the head of any bounty of any ganger I come across regardless of who they are affiliated with :) you can make a good chunk of change in the game you just have to grind for it :)

I cant remember the exact formula i had used, but i know i was able to buy components, craft item, sell, repeat, to earn basically infinite money. almost right off the bat too. before i had finished the first big heist quest i already had several million bucks. but i did go all-in on the crafting tech tree. not sure how doable it is without some of the perks and progression there.

Not far off owning all the cars no exploits(cheats) used, see above post.
I'm a pack rat I pick up everything I can and sell everything I don't want that's not exploiting that's playing the game lol yes it's grindy but I don't think I've played a single RPG type game that isn't grindy lol

I just finished this achievement on my 3rd run. I made a Corpo blade build with no crafting. I did every NCPD/GIG and side quest and looted everything and sold it all and had $20,000 left at the end after buying the cyberware I wanted and all the cars.

If you go into it with the mindset of getting this achievement then selling everything you will make it no problems.

My current completionist run where the only thing which has got sold is the 750 eddy junk items and booze will fall short of the final luxury car. So maybe 225k short but much less if I'd not been picking up crafting patterns too. Some crafting or just selling junk weapons will make that up without being too much of a bore.

There's easy money guides you can look up, takes a little time but it's fine.

Piss easy to make money in this game, using legit mechanics and no glitches.

I personally dismantle everything I am not going to use then craft - essentially you get free infinite crafting XP as well as free infinite money.

To get started you can buy all the 10 eddie drinks from vending machines and dismantle those, which turns a profit all by itself (even without crafting something new to sell).

By midgame I have hit the money cap (twice) after owning every car and having full max level legendary gear (a few sets even so I can change outfits when I feel like it).

yep in my 1st post I explained I just sell everything (should have put see "my" above post in that comment lol) Anything I don't want no matter how little I get for it is eddies is lol as I don't craft much it makes more sense to me to sell over scrap for components all the crafting i have done has been with looted components anyways so not found a reason to scrap stuff yet lol

I do the same as some of the other responses. Go on a drink buying spree, dismantle, sell the uncommon and common components. I'll end up going to multiple vendors because one doesn't usually have enough money to give me. I don't know how I could really buy the things I want it otherwise.
Yea it's taking advantage but making money kind of sucks right now so.

I bought all the cars on 2 different save files on the same playthrough actually. You only need to sell everything you find and only dismantle legendaries that aren't unique item sets (if you want to craft stuff later on). I've had like almost 4 million on both of them by doing all missions and side activities. Also the one trick where you sell that one painting and buy it back just to sell it again and repeat does help a little.

I invested in tech ability to 18. Very few things need much higher than that. Wish there were +1 or +2 stat bump drugs for that for different primary stat checks. I was int 20, tech 18, 18 cool i think.. Pretty much completely ignored reflex and body.

I just dismantled everything and would craft green sniper rifles from the mats to sell and drain vendors. Vendors restock after 24hrs game time. Its indeed tedious but I would stop and clean up my cache's and inventory usually once day. They sell for 1k per rifle and you end up with loads of materials for it. Those aluminum food/drink machines everywhere for 10$ drink items turn into loads of materials too if you feel you need more.

I just wish you could bulk craft in game, and sell multiple stacks at the same time. You end up with loads of mats if you loot pretty much all the things in your path and in areas close to them as you run around doing things in game, you end up with loads of mats. If you drive everywhere you seem a miss a lot of stuff and junk to dismantle.

Once I got that painting, I also drained the drop points as I walked and sprinted by, because athletics kinda sucks to train, when doing missions. Doing all the quests too, and the optional stuff you end up with loads of eddies.

Never really had any money issues, bought all the cars, cyberware and mods I wanted (wish, I could sell or melt unused implants at ripperdocs, wasted a lot on those and would be nice to recoup). Bought a lot of purple or legendary clothing items, crafted others.. Still had mats to constantly upgrade stuff too. The cyberware quickhacks sell really well too, I'd just keep upgrading all of them to purple or legendary and sell the ones i didn't need.
