True Warrior / True Soldier Achievements Bugged?

I've killed well over the required amount of NPCs and can't get either to pop. From Googling, lots of others have experienced this as well but most of the posts are from December/January with not much resolution. Wondering if anyone has figured out a solution to this?

If you are using a cheating mod, sometimes this will happen. The third party program will cause issues with communicating the achievement to Steam, so it bugs out. This is well documented in the mod community.

Steam itself sometimes just doesn't track play time and achievements, that's also well known, logging out and logging back in usually fixes it.

I've never had an issue with any of my current achievements in this game. I have not yet however, attempted to 100% this game. OMG has in fact gotten all of the achievements tho, so he is very likely to be correct about this.

I have not had that issue, but do not doubt what you are saying. There are times that an achievement will not pop for me, until I log out of the game, showing inaccurate timing of when I actually achieved them. It does not happen often, but it does happen.

Do a search for Steam not tracking time or achievements, you'll find dozens and dozens of threads going back almost a decade.

Hmm. I mean is highly likely sure, but I myself have never had an issue with any achievements for any of my owned games. That list is short tho, but it is worth noting.

It's actually pretty common, and seems to be fairly random in who it affects, but it happens a lot, with a wide variety of games.

Got it. In that case, there's probably an issue going on.
