If you have less than 95% the mouse is fine.
And yeah to achieve that well you have to turn graphics down and also limit FPS lol.
Just wait for CDPR to optimize the game coz it's pretty terrible right now, even after all the patches.
I could be wrong and I'm open to discussion about this topic as long as its civilized.
There have been many topics of people with beefy cards like the 3070/80/90 who also run into problems.
A quick forum search will tell you that this game is pretty much a hit and miss. You might be lucky, you might not be.
I've played this game with initially with an AMD system at first and then built and switched to an Intel build. Both ran perfectly fine even with drastically different hardware for each build. Makes me want to become a PC technician to see what may be causing performance issues for other people.
I play a majority FPS, as well, and the only mouselag in CP2077 I found outside the usual suspects was 'Slow HDD Mode'.
That will cause mouse lag that isn't from V-sync or locked framerates.
It's common sense, you can't play this game in ultra with a bad PC, and yeah I guess you have to say it anyway since some people are dumb or just ignorant.
But I would expect running this game in high or medium at least with my config (9700KF@5GHz + 1080Ti OC + 16 Go 3600MHz C15, everything watercooled).
Don't tell me my GPU is old, 1080Ti is better than a 2070 and can be better than a 2080 on some games too.
I just spend more 100 hrs on this game and finished it and it was with low graphics + fps limited to 60...
There's no consistency in frames, mouse lag, my CPU is litterally sleeping on this game (30-40%), but GPU is always at high usage for no real reason honestly.
I could understand dropping frames while driving but at a spot, with no NPC, no light, in front of a wall with nothing behind it, the GPU is still under heavy load.
If you don't limit your frames, the GPU will be at 99% almost all the time, even in low graphics.
I tried a lot of things to get rid of this mouse lag, Low Latency mode in nvidia panel, disabling fullscreen optimization, settings DPI scaling to application, disabling or enabling Windows 10 game mode, slow HDD mode, decreasing number of NPCs, lower resolution, timer resolution set at 0.5, MSI mode for nvidia driver, interrupt affinity changed for my GPU, nothing works.
The only thing what worked for me was low graphics, frames limited to 60 and raw curve for mouse and controller in the ingame options.
I played the game at its release in december and the frames were exactly the same as they are right now, the patches changed nothing on my side.
But I believe you don't know what lag means and can't tell if it's lagging or not.
And you want a proof ? Check that : https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/3TShRUPjJEVwUKVkYvGuC.png
Even at 720p resolution with low graphics, you have only 70 FPS lol.
I just picked it up again and reinstalled it. Lag issue this time. This solved my problem. Back to gaming Chooms!
