Uh no. Like hell no.
Not only is there absolutely zero evidence of this, but the argument itself is just plain dumb.
Before release I visited forum very rarely and I knew with expectations the game will not satisfy people. I had no unrealistic expectations.
All I wanted is to get the game without half baked features like physics, AI, police, npcs spawn/despawn, character customisation.
And I expected deep RPG as CDPR lied to me it will be. With multiple choices and consequences of most things you do.
I didn`t want interactive movie when V is reduced to guy behing camera and just watch what is going on.
And I expected openworld where actually you could do something instead of walking and looking at its architecture. Nothing innovative. Some flippers to play, some dancing clubs to go, some hookers to bang, some sandbox activities like car races or strret fights,
Nothing that wasn`t made before.
And I didn`t expect the ammount of bugs. Cars riding through solid objects on the streets, Npcs walking through them or sliding and T-posing, playing invisible instruments, eating invisible food, Jessie putting the gun in his head when trying to pull out the chip, my summoned car dropping straight at my head out from the sky, enemies that somehow couldn`t notice me standing next to them during fight, countelss items that I can`t pick up etc.
Yes it is... None of those things affect the development in a meaningful way. Add a couple of bikes? Sure. That's a regular monday :P
This This This !!! You bring up an extremely valid point. There can be no doubt that after they brought a major celebrity on board... it changed the thrust of the game. We have no idea the drama that unfolded inside their studios after this...but it had to be monumental drama-politics inside their studios. I am convinced it threw a huuuuge monkey wrench into the mix and we got the game in it's condition BECAUSE of Keanu actually
Can you prove otherwise? You're flinging around some pretty weak stuff stating it as TEH BIG STUFF.
The bikes were a CDPR decision, not something Reeves demanded. They found out he's a bike maker and loved the look and style of them. Perfect opportunity to do some cross promotion.
Based on... literally what? Assumptions? Y'all are hilarious.
