Katana crafting recipe

There are few melee crafting recipes outside the "Iconic" stuff. I am on my 2nd playthrough and still wandering: is there a recipe to craft a simple katana? I know there is one for a bat, for example, but never found one for a katana. Couldn't find anything on the google, either!

Good news is, yes there is. I just looted it yesterday.

Bad news is, I don't remember exactly where I looted it. It was in Japantown and I think it was during one of the Jobs for Wakako. Or I looted it from a street gang encounter on my way to do a job for Wakako.

No. It doesn't. The only legendary katanas there are the iconic ones.

They need a perk that allows you to reverse engineer your own schematics from gathered items at like tech level 15 or something.

No. It doesn't. The only legendary katanas there are the iconic ones.

You have to level the skill to 20 I think. It does unlock several legendary specs.

I am telling you it won't happen. Already been at lvl 20 crafting. There is no simple katana recipe to craft.

Or they could do like Fallout New Vegas did, the jury rigging perk

I've checked videos, guides, and explored and found nothing. The only katanas that can be crafted, outside of the iconics, are legendaries. If you do find a recipe, please post its location.

No, but you Can unlock the crafting spec by leveling technical and crafting skill to 18. Once you hit level 18 crafting, it automatically unlocks. There are no recipes for the Katana.

ya best option is just to find a legendary katana with as many slots as possible and put the cold shoulder mods on it

Go to any melee weapon shop and just keep waiting 24 hours to refresh its inventory
