Interface, inventory, character screen, etc...
Not sure if you are like me, but I am having a hard time with the interface on the pause menu with journal, maps, character, inventory.

I find it difficult to understand and to read. So many little elements laying around and not real focused informations. I don't even know how you are supposed to level the character because of the 2-3 layers of upgrade stuff. I got, I think, the inventory with level requisite items.

I took a big machine gun at my first act, but don't know where it is, and don't know why it wasn't showing for the stash.

A bit loss, and the interface is kind of very important in a game of that size.

The UI & inventory management is overall just a mess

You can't carry the LMGs around. You drop them when you put them away.

Well Komaro, from one kitty cat to another, you're purrfectly correct. It took me many hours playing to understand Raise XP, Raise Attributes, Raise Perks, Raise Skill levels, Raise Quality of Armor, Raise Quality of Weapons, Raise Quality of Weapon mods, Raise quality of Clothing Mods BUT, I did start the game knowing how to Raise Hell in this mess of an Open World FP shooter with RPG elements. :)

Edit; You can't keep the large machine guns you remove from turrets. You also can't reload them while you're using one.

You can indeed keep them, just place in the trunk of a car you own. No reloading

Hmm, I didn't know that. But then again, I don't drive except when a quest requires it. I can run faster than drive in this game using a KB&M. :)

Thanks for your answers. I know I am not alone and the problem is not me. Guess I will have to spend more time in the UI. It's a bit sad they didn't get that part to be better. It's not something you can fix in a patch.

Ah, that makes me think about the first version of Final Fantasy 14. Bad memories here.
