Was Not Prepared for the Gay Sexuality in this Game
I was totally stunned by all the homosexual advertisements all around the city as I began exploring. Watson ♥♥♥♥♥ and other homosexual Ads plastered all around the city. Anyone else like me that was totally clueless as to what this game was going to feature ? After spending over 100 hrs on this game... it feels over sexualized for homosexuality rather than hetero. The developers clearly built a game centered on the future that they feel will be mostly Transgendered and people not sure of their sexuality. Thoughts?
Edit: I'm a straight guy in real life playing a Female V

Who cares?

I think your problem is that you're so used to how much hetero specific advertisement there is, that seeing anything triggers you. :holyflame: :crusader_helmet:

Judy - V must have female voice and body type to romance.
Panam - V must have male body type to romance.
River - V must have female body type to romance.
Kerry - V must have male voice and body type to romance.

As you can see, the actual romance options in the game are evenly split 50/50 between ♥♥♥♥/hetero.

Yea good point....which brings me back to my point of creating the thread.... was not prepared for it...totally blindsided by it all. I only watched a couple trailers for this game and was totally clueless to the homosexuality that I would see later on

I wonder if America will ever be like Night City ... with advertisements everywhere in public showing different forms of sexuality . Currently in real world here in USA.... every now and then you see a commercial on TV with two guys...but it's rare

I just recently completed the River quest line. I'm a straight guy in real life but playing a Female V....girls are hot to me so I'd rather play a hot girl in game or get it on with a hot girl in game

Anyway... with River... I saw immediately where this was going...he wanted me. I swear this game really messes with your head. So I had to stop and think to myself...wait... I'ma straight guy in real life...but I'm playing a female in game...why is it bothering me that River wants to bone me? I couldn't even look at him during the romance scenes...I kept looking at my belly n legs when we were sitting down at top of that tower....and needless to see I made it clear to him it was not going any further by my answer choices

But with my female V and Judy... I had no mental issues....enjoyed that romance and still do...she sends emails to me every now and then

Dude, your heterosexuality is so fragile you probably have to say no ♥♥♥♥ to yourself every few minutes to feel secure. But I guess it's the same with every "I play a girl because I don't want to stare at a man's character whole game".

The gay isn't catching.

Awww, that’s a cute reaction. I don’t know. I met some homosexual characters but not ads I particularly remember. Maybe I didn’t pay attention. Or maybe you were just keen on that. Checking actual ads ratio would be the closest answer.

Its weird because I read this previously as the romance options, but on my playthrough as a male V, I romanced Panam and yet, I was given options to kiss both River and Kerry at the end of their quests. The only one who never presented any romance options was Judy.

Note that I didn't kiss either Kerry or River, so I'm not sure what their responses would have been. I was just surprised that the options were there at all, after what I'd read.

Cis heteronormativity gets challenged in Cyberpunk 2077 and I wish more games would do that. Cis straight people are over presented anyway.

Huh? Gay sexuality?

Lemme think.
Well, there was the whole Angel/Sky thing. That wasn't really sexual in the end, but I still walked out backwards immediatly.
Nope, nope, nope. Lol.

I haven't seen any more homosexuality, not that I'm aware of.

But you know the saying: If all you have is a hammer, anything looks like a nail. So if you are in such things, maybe you find more of it.

P.S.: I played a male V. Next playthrough I might chose a female V. In this case I'll need some homosexuality, cause there's no way I'm gonna make out with a dude.

I know Angel also stands as a male’s name, but that was the most unexpected/gayest thing I encountered in this game. “Nope, nope, nope, that’s what I chose!”

There's something very wrong with you.
