Cyberpsycho: Smoke on the water blocking progress

I did this mission but somehow it doesnt seem to ' close '. Going back to the pier and scanning / searching everything doesnt fix the problem. This prevents me from completing all cyberpsycho missions. Troubleshooting on the googlez didn't offer any fix.

Did any of you potential readers encounter this problem? And if so, did you manage to fix it?

Off Topic: Played for about 77 hours now and I feel like i'm halfway. Enjoying this game alot!

I've texted Regina, which should have completed the mission. The quest in the questlog displays the following:
On top of the screen there's an exclamation mark (!) follow by the text: Track Quest.
Pressing this doesnt do anything.

Underneath there's the quest discription which reads:
if it werent for all the screaming, dead scavs and that wreck of a car, be a pretty nice place. But hey, thats life. Wanna check it out and see what went down? Check the pier.

My last text to Regina is: Wasn't easy, but i managed to keep him alive

Hey, I've had the exact same issue with this quest. Unfortunately I cant give you an answer or a fix because this one is bugged if you do it in a certain way i'm afraid. What I can tell you for a future play through or if you load a previous save that there's an optional quest log which needs to be completed before you finish the Cyberpsycho.
This is the one where the Tiger claws want to blackmail the Military dude who is the Cyberpsycho. If I remember correctly the optional task is to save the Cyberpsycho' daughter from the tiger claws.
Now this is the one I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up as I forgot to save the girl and think this causes the quest log bug.
So if you have an auto save before the quest try to save the girl before kill / neutralize the Cyberpsycho. She's in a van under the pier guarded by 3-4 tiger claws. So give it a try maybe it helps.

p.s. Dont worry, even though the quest log is bugged for me to the quest counts as completed so you can complete all cyberpsycho missions and the achievement as well.

Noted! I noticed this quest was bugged a big while after i supposedly completed it (back around the first week of launch) so unfortunately I'm not able to revert back to that save. It's nice to read that it probably will count as completed anyway. I'm not at that point yet but I hope it's the way you describe it to be :).
I'll deffo keep a backup save on my second playthrough when i arrive at this quest again. Thanks for the answer!

I had this happen on one of my playthroughs as well. Don't know of a solution. I had to just let it sit there. But as Jackal said it still completes all the cyberpsycho quests to trigger going to visit Regina.

did you check under the pier on the beach?

normally there are some things to scan down there.
