Can't Draw Weapons

When i start the quest with River it seems to bug. After i try to call to start the quest he wont answer and it does something to where i cant draw my weapons or use healables. It just says actions blocked. Now its starting to happen in saves from before i even called. The game is now completely unplayable.

i had a similar issue. pick a different quest. use the public transport to get you as close to the new quest as possible. walk to the new quest area. at some point while walking the last few blocks to the new quest area you should be able to access weapons. this is what worked for me

Probably means the fast travel points.

Initiating a cut scene can fix this. Most people visit Jig Jig street and hire a prostitute, because those are cut scenes you can start at any time.

I saw at least one person saying that going to The Afterlife bar fixed it for them, because it's a safe zone where guns can't be drawn.

The idea here is that the bug happens when the game disables your weapons for whatever reason but fails to re-enable them properly, so entering and exiting the cut scene/bar toggles the ability to draw weapons.

I tried the Afterlife and it didn't work, so I went to Jig Jig street and it did the... trick.
Long story short: If you have trouble getting your weapon up, hire a professional...
